Each year, Cat® recognizes their dealer operations worldwide through the Rental Power Operational Excellence Program. The goal of this program is to create a culture of market-leading quality and continuous improvement, through the standardization in processes, procedures, and policies. With this focus on improving dealer operations, comes better customer service and improved value delivery.
Gregory Poole Rental Power Systems attended this year’s program, coming home with both the 5 Star Award, and the Dealer Of The Year Award.
The 5 Star Award reviews all aspects of the business process and practices by ranking performance in the following categories: Rental Operations, Sales & Marketing, Business Growth, Financial Health and Planning, HR, and Safety & Development. Not many dealers have achieved this award because it is so rigorous, but Gregory Poole was able to go onstage this year and accept the award with pride.
The Dealer Of The Year award is only given to one dealer from all the Cat Power Systems Rental groups worldwide. There is no award greater for a rental group. This award is voted on by Caterpillar and the Power Systems DAT team, given to the dealer that has achieved operational excellence, sales growth, higher than average PINS, higher than average dollars as it relates to population in their respective territory, higher than average fleet utilization, higher than average financial utilization, higher than average equipment uptime, and the list goes on. Gregory Poole was honored to receive such an award, which would not have been possible without the hard work from everyone in the team.
With Gregory Poole Power Systems Rental team member Willie Scott also accepting one of only two finalist plaques for the Bruce Stokdyk award, given for going above and beyond the call of duty on a daily basis, there was no other dealer at this program that spent as much time on stage accepting awards.
