As the owner of Limitless Lawns and JMS Site Development, Jared has been working with Gregory Poole for just four years. After a family friend referred him to Gregory Poole, Jared decided to use the company for his heavy equipment needs.

“Cat equipment definitely has a large presence in the grading field. So, the name’s everywhere,” he says. “I’d heard people talk about it holding up better, customer support being better. And it just was kind of a no brainer to go that route.”

Like other customers who have begun working with Gregory Poole in recent years, Jared has found that the business relationship makes his job easier, from maintenance to sales.

“Working with Gregory Poole makes my job a lot easier in terms of maintenance, any kind of parts and repairs that are needed there. On top of that, they sometimes know when a maintenance schedule is coming up before I even do,” he says. “And then as far as the sales team, they’re quick to respond. If we need a piece of equipment, I have an answer of when it can be there, and the price and quote, everything within the hour.”

When Jared first began doing business with Gregory Poole in 2020, he originally was set on purchasing new equipment. Brian Metcalf, Jared’s Account Manager at Gregory Poole, convinced him to take advantage of the company’s extensive used equipment options.

“He wanted a new 320 and a new D5 dozer,” says Brian. “And we suggested that just starting out, I would probably look at used.” Brian explained to Jared that whether he needed a new or used machine, our priority is to help our customers maintain their fleet.  The first used machines Jared purchased with us are still running in his fleet today.

Since that initial purchase of used machines, Jared has grown his fleet with both used and new Cat equipment.  “His fleet is probably 50/50 used,” says Brian.

While a positive recommendation led Jared to Gregory Poole, the quality of the equipment and fast response of the Gregory Poole team has left a lasting impression on him.

“Ever since working with the Gregory Poole team, they have certainly exceeded our expectations. They’re quick to respond. They come on the job sites routinely and check things out,” says Jared. “They ask questions, make sure that equipment is working as it should, that maintenance is up to schedule. They always seem to be on top of it”

Looking ahead, Jared hopes to continue his business partnership with Gregory Poole as his own companies continue to expand.

“Certainly, as we continue to grow, we will continue working with Gregory Poole. They’ve been a huge help to us. Not only on equipment but also on just advice and guidance,” he says.
