Greg Poole, Jr. All Faiths Chapel, opening Spring of 2021, is set to be adorned in artwork from local artist, Christopher Holt. Holt was chosen for the honor amongst a pool of applicants due to his visionary plan for the space.
Christopher Holt is an Asheville, North Carolina based artist observing nature and spirituality in his contemporary style. Holt studied art at the University of North Carolina, Chapel Hill where he became influenced by Kimowan Metchewais.
When speaking on Greg Poole, Jr. All Faiths Chapel, Holt wrote, “Here, our goal is to, at once, recognize ourselves while at the same time recognizing those that have come before and those that will follow. Here, in this Narthex we are called together.”
The re-opening of the Greg Poole, Jr. All Faiths Chapel is possible thanks to the many generous donors who have contributed to the Conservancy. Without them this restoration would not be possible!
